Description

Class Experience

¡Hola! In this one-time live online class, your child will join me on a multimedia journey to Mexico. We explore many facets of this country's fascinating cultures using Google Maps, YouTube, and other media. Specifically, we will:

* Visit Mexico City via Google Maps
* Explore the history of the ancient city of Tenochtitlan
* Learn how to count to ten in Nahuatl
* Make papel picado

This class is a spinoff of my successful Virtual Field Trip series, reimagined for preschoolers. I spent several years working with preschoolers in daycare and community education settings.

Please bring to class the following materials:
* a sheet of white or colored paper
* scissors

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

I have a parrot in the next room who likes to chirp.
