Let’s Go to Harry Potter Wizard Camp! Book and Movie Review

Class

Average rating:4.9Number of reviews:(458)
This Harry Potter camp will incorporate all things wizard! We will analyze the Harry Potter books and movies, study and discuss characters, play wizard bingo, draw, answer “Would You Rather?” questions, and have a wizard scavenger hunt.

Class experience

Our goal for this wizard camp is to examine and discuss the books, movies, and characters.
You may dress up in wizard wear each day. Don't forget your wand!

DAY 1: Bring your book and movie memorabilia to class.
DAY 2: Bring candy or something else to use as bingo markers on your bingo card. Before the game, your unique wizard bingo card will be sent to you individually in a note with an attachment under the teacher tab in the classroom. You will need to print/draw out/or save it to a second device to mark during the bingo game in class. You will use the same card for all rounds of bingo.
DAY 3: Bring several sheets of regular copy paper, colored markers, and/or colored pencils. A Sharpie marker is suggested for initial drawing. *You may want to put something under your drawing paper to protect the surface you are drawing on!
DAY 4: Bring the drawings you created after class yesterday to share with everyone.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
For the mini scavenger hunt on Thursday, kids will be asked to get up and go find a few specific items around the house. The scavenger hunt will only be about 10 minutes at the end of class time as a fun way to wrap up Wizard Camp.
