In this fast-paced exercise class, learners follow a cartoon-style slideshow of a dinosaur undertaking an adventure. The dino must run, sneak, duck, jump, and fight through dangers, traps, and enemies to save the day. Learners imitate the movements of the dino throughout the adventure and share in the glory of victory! Coach Erick will enthusiastically demonstrate the movements in real time and provide specific instructions as well as encouragement. The goal is to keep moving as much as...
Students will learn that working out can be fun! They will also increase physical fitness and stamina.
The hero in the adventure uses a sword. Learners may wish to have their own "sword" which could be a toy sword, a cardboard tube, a pool noodle, or any non-dangerous, stick-like object. Learners will be encouraged to swing their "swords" at various points in the adventure. If a student does not have a "sword," the "fighting" movements can be pretend. Learners will need enough space to move around in front of their devices. They should be able to stand and have several feet in each direction with no obstructions or tripping hazards. This will prevent accidental collisions with the learner and with the "sword" as well as falls. Please ensure that your learner has water on hand during class.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
