This is a fun classic game of adventure. For a scavenger hunt, you are given a list of items to find. It is always fun to see what each person finds. For this FLEX lesson, each week, I will be adding a presentation of the week's topic theme. When the theme is listed in the comment section of the classroom, each learner will have 3 days to find and locate their items for the topic given. Each learner will be encouraged to share their found items in the classroom for discussion (learner can...
This will be a fun way to use imagination when finding the items, as well as using your writing skills to finish a story.
The homework will be a writing task activity. For your homework, using 1 of your week's chosen items, please finish the story. I will write the beginning of a funny story, and you must choose 1 of your week's item to add into the story and complete it. This will be a short story of a maximum of 6 sentences. I will review each story. Each homework completed earns 5 points. I will correct any of your grammar and spelling errors.
Learners will be collecting a variety of items each week for showing and describing.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
During each week, a new theme will be set for finding specific items. (For example, things that start with letters, things that are the color ___, things from the backyard, etc). Please ensure that your child does not bring anything offensive, language sensitive, bullying materials, weapons, religious, or discriminating to the classroom.
