Let's learn about fossils! This class will be taught through discussion, video clips, slides, an interactive game, and a hands-on science experiment. We will get a better understanding of where dinosaurs once lived. We will discuss what it means to be a paleontologist. Finally, we are going to create our own fossils! (An adult must be present to supervise.) We will use flour, sand, dirt, water, plastic dinosaurs, and a baking sheet. Once they have hardened, place fossils in a plastic container. We are ready to dig for fossils! **Note mixture will have to sit in the sun for several hours before it's ready to excavate. I can’t wait to see you in class! I create a positive classroom where students are engaged, comfortable, and eager to learn. Students will not need any prior knowledge to attend this class. I can't wait to see you in class.
