Class Experience

We will go over the sound of each lower case letter of the alphabet and familiar words that starts with that letter such as ant, ball, cat, daddy, egg, fun, go, happy, in, juice, kite, look, and so forth. Then, they will be given instructions on how to air write each lowercase letter in the air. If they wish, they can also write them on paper after we go over each letter in the air. Finally, as a review and reinforcement, we will sing a phonics alphabet song together and use our hands and bodies to make shape of the words and letters they just learned. We will go through a power point with letter and pictures to encourage learning and fun.
I love to teach with enthusiasm and visuals, so learners would want to come back for more.
Learners can get up on their feet and show with movement each word they learned with each letter.
Students can bring something to write or draw with if they like- for example pencils and paper. I will provide them with a worksheet to learn to write the lowercase letters on paper. This class is recommended for learners who want to learn to write the lowercase alphabet letters and learn the sounds of the all the letters of the alphabets.
No prior knowledge is required. Just have fun!
