In this four week class, students will learn about a different tribal group each week. We'll discuss their culture and region as well as create a piece of art to help us learn more about each group.

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this class students will learn about Native American tribal groups. We will discuss the differences between tribes and regional changes that created those differences. Each class will involve some lesson time, with images and discussions, and some craft time. Week 1 - Eastern Woodlands We'll discuss the first tribes to have contact with the English upon their arrival at Jamestown. Drawing paper pencils coloring material of your choice print outs as required by week aluminum foil sharpie scissors play dough or air dry clay paper bag tooth picks (colored or natural) thick paper/cardstock
Minimal outside time needed, only if your child wishes to finish a project they didn't complete during class time. Scissors and other art supplies will be used during class.
