Some of the most delicious things come from a street market! Crispy on the outside and coated in a sweet & spicy sauce, grilled Korean rice cakes are one of the most beloved street foods in South Korea. These chewy morsels are addictively delicious. Korean savory hotteok is another treat you won't want to miss out on-- fried pancakes that are stuffed with a vegetable and noodle filling. And who would have thought that French fries and corn dogs could make such a dynamite combination?...
I will supply an ingredients list and written recipe with cooking tips at least one week in advance to the course start date. I also suggest having a wide, deep pot ready for deep frying.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This course is open to all learners! However, students will be pan frying and deep frying. For safety purposes, I highly recommend parent supervision for this course, especially while learners are deep frying. I suggest using a deep, wide pot for deep frying to prevent splattering.
