US Grade 2
Welcome! During your child's classes, your child will work on key math skills going into Grade 2 through a variety of activities (e.g. slides, games, discussion). We will also work on nurturing confidence and motivation toward their skills. We will be covering the following Grade 2 outcomes (from Common Core curriculum): *addition/subtraction within 100 (numeric and word problems) *hundreds, tens and ones place value for numbers up to 999 *count within 1000 including skip counting by 5s and 10s *comparing two, 2-digit and then two, 3-digit numbers After our two classes, your child will receive a certificate of completion. As parents/guardians, you will receive recommendations and steps for continuing to grow your child's numeracy skills.
