US Grade 9 - 12
We will choose a young adult book to read as a group and each class meeting we will discuss the chapters read. We will identify the protagonist and antagonist and discuss their strengths and weaknesses. We will study composition and creative writing as well. We will have lots of fun! The first four week's are listed below detailing which books will be read. NOTE: This list will be updated to reflect the new titles once selected. Week of Sept. 15- Long Live The Pumpkin Queen- Shea Earnshaw Week of Sept. 22- I Kissed Shara Wheeler -Casey McQuiston Week of Sept. 29- Family of Liars- E. Hi! I am teacher Lori! I'm very excited to meet you! I was born and raised in Alabama. I have an Executive Masters in Business Administration from Faulkner University. I have seven years experience teaching English to children in Mexico, as well as three years experience teaching kindergarten here in Alabama. My favorite hobbies are reading and writing. I feel that learning should be fun and strive to incorporate fun and games in all of my lessons! I want your child to learn in a fun filled environment. I will use a number of tools to engage your child such as props throughtout my lessons. My ultimate goal is for your child to love to learn with me and to have fun while learning!
