Description
Class Experience
In this live 4 day art class we will be learning about different methods of creativity. I will briefly talk about the technique we will be using at the beginning of each class and demonstrate it while the students try it for themselves. I allow students to ask questions during class to make sure they feel comfortable with the methods and materials we are using. We will be using acrylic paints and watercolor paints, pencils, markers and paper. I will post the required materials for each...

While using their hands and their minds to be creative, students will learn new skills through play....the best way to learn. Here is a list of what you will need for each class session: Day #1. Salt Art Fireworks Sky with Watercolors -Watercolor paints all colors -Mixed Media Art Paper or Watercolor Paper -Paint Brushes - multiple sizes -Salt - any salt will work -Painters tape, masking tape or Washi tape -Cup of water -Paper towel or cloth rag. Day #2. Self Portrait w Mirror -Acrylic paints of varying colors -Mixed Media Art Paper or white construction paper -Paint palette or paper plate -Paint brushes - multiple sizes -Pencil & eraser -Black marker -Mirror -Painters tape, masking tape or Washi tape Day #3 Panel Paintings - Create a story on panels -Acrylic paints of varying colors -Mixed Media Art Paper or white construction paper -Paint palette or paper plate -Paint brushes - multiple sizes -Pencil & eraser -Black marker -Painters tape, masking tape or Washi tape -Scissors #4.
