Class Experience
In this one time class students will learn how to make Thanksgiving themed sugar cookies. We will use an easy to follow recipe to make the sugar cookies and icing. I teach via a "tell, show, do, feedback" model that is similar to the gradual release models used in schools. We will use a hand held mixer or stand mixer to mix our ingredients, use food dye to add color to our icing. Recipe for cookies will be provided on the Outschool discussion board. Fall/Thanksgiving cookie cutters flour, sugar, eggs, food coloring mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons, piping bags, oven,
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
*Parental supervision is suggested as we are using hot ovens.*
