In this ongoing cooking and conversation class learners will learn basic knife and cooking skills while having conversation. This class is great for students of all levels, no previous cooking experience is needed. I teach via "tell, show, do and feedback" which is very similar to the "gradual release" model used in schools. At each gathering students will prepare a delicious meal they can share with their families and friends. I love using fresh fruits and vegetables in my meals and I love making conversation in the kitchen. There may be times when the meal is finished after the lesson has ended. Recipes and ingredient lists will be available before each class via the Outschool message board. Monday Wednesday 6/12: Shish Kabobs with rice 6/19: Sausage foil packets with vegetable 6/26: Oven Baked Corn Dogs with Pasta salad 7/3: Lasagna 7/10: Catfish with hush puppies 7/17: Pizza 7/24: Mini Beef Wellingtons with Caprese Salad 7/31: Gourmet Burgers with homemade bread and butter pickles Friday Please note: This is an ONGOING SUBSCRIPTION. Payment is charged each Sunday before class meets. If your child is unable to attend class you can unsubscribe before the weekend so that you are not charged for the upcoming lesson.
