In this one time class students will learn how to make nut-free macarons. We will use an easy to follow recipe to make the macaroons and butter cream filling. I teach via a "tell, show, do, feedback" model that is similar to the gradual release models used in schools. We will use a whisk attachment or hand held mixer to mix our ingredients, use food dye to add color to our macarons.
