This class will have a lecture/ discussion component and a hands-on component. Mexican cuisine is featured on menus around the world. From New York to Hong Kong, you can easily find tacos, burritos, and other antojitos. This class will explore the origins of some of those foods, including some of the regional variations within Mexico. Students will need to have on hand: Masa Harina Cooking Oil A Tortilla Press or Rolling Pin Waxed Paper Comal or Cast Iron Skillet Tomatoes Jalapeños Cilantro Onion White Vinegar Garlic Salt
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
