Description
Class Experience
In this class students will learn how to make delicious cake pops. Using simple at home ingredients I will teach the students step by step how to mix their ingredients, mold their cake pops, attach handles and decorate using candy melts. On the first day I will share a recipe from scratch not a box, for students to bake, we will then use our hands or mixer to break up our cake and shape into pops. We will allow our cake pops to cool in the refrigerator overnight, we will use our candy melts...
Flour, sugar, cocoa powder (if you want to make chocolate cake pops), vanilla extract, candy melts ( colors of your choice), toppings: sprinkles, small candy, crushed cookies. Cake pan mixing bowls and spoons measuring cups/spoons *Official recipe will be posted to the classroom discussion board*
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
No experience is needed for making cake pops, but parental guidance is suggested for hot oven use.
