Description
Class Experience
We will work on targeted areas unique to the learner's needs.
There is no assigned homework, but depending on the child's needs there may be materials to get ready / prepare for class.
We may be using hands-on materials such as snap cubes, a 20 frame and counters, dice, clock, ruler, hundreds chart, base ten beads (10 pony beads on a pipe cleaner) and a base tens and ones chart,... The learner will use a whiteboard and dry erase marker.
The learner is informally assessed on the first day to see where they are and on which areas we will focus. Each lesson will be altered as needed depending on what the child can do.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
