Let’s explore...the Moon! In this one-time class, students will learn all about the moon that we can see up in the sky. What is the moon? What is on the moon? What are the different phases on the moon? We will explore these topics in this interactive and engaging lesson! Students will learn about what the moon is and why it is so important. Students will be provided with a printable that they can bring to class to draw the different phases of the moon. If you do not have access to a printer, you can use a plain sheet of paper. Students will be able to follow along with a visual presentation. Participation is encouraged! I am excited to explore the MOON with you!

Teacher expertise and credentials
“Once you stop learning, you start dying.” -Albert Einstein
When we are little, we think that the world is full of mystery and wonder. One day you want to be a magical fairy princess and the next you want to be an astronaut. The possibilities feel endless! I think it is so important to encourage children to explore their interests, follow their heart, and use their voice.
My name is Caroline and I have a variety of interests from princesses to robotics and everything in between! My teaching style includes encouragement, collaboration, and creativity.
I currently work as an online ESL teacher. I also assist in teaching STEM classes. I love teaching online! I enjoy making connections with students and their families. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I completed trainings on topics of leadership, communication, advocacy, and conflict resolution. I also have a TESOL certification.
I have 7 years of experience working with people on the autism spectrum. I performed various roles in their lives including care-taker, advocate, teacher, and mentor. I enjoyed working in the human services field. In fact, that is where I met my husband. I believe that the way someone treats the most vulnerable people speaks volumes to their true character.
My husband and I packed up what we could fit on our hatchback car and we moved all the way down the East Coast 2 years ago! When I am not teaching or learning new things, I enjoy spending time at the beach and playing with my dog, Phoebe.
I would be honored to have the opportunity to teach your child! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to request a class time or topic.
