In this 4 week class, students will explore 4 habitats (wetlands, deserts, rainforests, and polar habitats) and the animals that live there. They will create a project each week and play group games to review what was learned. Week 1: Wetlands- Students will learn about 4 different wetlands (bogs, swamps, ponds, and marshes) through a vibrant presentation. The art materials for all of the projects are flexinle; you can use whatever you have on hand. Here are some suggestions: Week 1: Wetlands- A paper plate/piece of cardboard/paper Colored paper Scissors Glue Coloring materials Toys (plants, animals) Week 2: Deserts- Colored paper Scissors Glue Coloring materials or paint Rice/oats/sand Week 3: Rainforests- A cardboard box or piece of paper Colored paper Scissors Glue Coloring materials Toys (plants, animals) Week 4: Polar Habitats- Colored paper Scissors Glue Coloring materials If you have any questions or concerns about materials, please contact me.
