Parental Guidance
Please be advised that we will often move our bodies in our seats or nearby workspace. This may include swaying like a tree, pretending to hop, climb or swim like a frog or fly like a bird or bat. Your child does not need lots of extra space for this, but having a parent nearby is always a great plan. 😉
I will be sharing topic-specific slideshows that I have created on Canva during class time.
Supply List
Custom worksheets will be provided to supplement the class. Children may bring coloring utensils to class if they wish to use the worksheets during class. Printing is never required and sheets are for use at any time.
External Resources
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in English from Hanover College
I have been teaching Science and ASL signs for over 20 years in a brick-and-mortar Montessori classroom. For example, I've seen the children light-up when they can use science concepts in daily life, an animal sign within a song or lesson or when they practice Grace and Courtesy using ASL signs with each other and with me.
