*This class is also a part of my Natural Sciences ongoing course* In this class we will: Welcome and introduce everyone Ask and discuss what the students think the concepts of Plant versus Animal means to them. We will view a slideshow to present the concepts and definitions of Plant versus Animal. We will learn an original song about the concepts. We will learn ASL signs that accompany the concepts. We will play a game with slideshow pictures to practice categorization. We will play a more abstract game as the students and I take turns naming things that are Plants or Animals. We will review the concept, sing the song and use the signs again. We will say our goodbyes.
Learning Goals
*Students will learn the definitions of plants and animals.
*Students will use their knowledge to identify and sort the two categories.
