Class Experience

In this class, the learners will embark on an exciting journey through our solar system to discover fascinating facts about the sun, stars, and planets. 

They will learn:
The role of the sun as the center of the solar system.
Fun facts and scientific details about each planet, from Mercury to Neptune.

Class topics:
Introduction to the Solar System and the Sun.
The Inner Planets – Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.
The Gas Giants – Jupiter and Saturn.
The Ice Giants – Uranus and Neptune.
Stars, constellations, and fun space facts.


One-time class as an introduction to the solar system. 

Engaging Introduction – A warm welcome and hello to friends.
Interactive Lesson – A mix of slides, short video clips, and captivating visuals to explore each topic.
Activities – Learners will participate in writing activities, discussions, and fun songs to reinforce learning.
Wrap-Up and Q&A – We’ll end the class with time for learners to ask questions and share their thoughts.


I use a highly interactive and visual teaching style, ensuring that concepts are explained clearly and in an age-appropriate way. Learners will see colorful slides, watch short space-themed video clips, and engage in lively discussions and a hands-on activities.

My teaching style is dynamic, engaging, and student-centered. I encourage curiosity by asking open-ended questions and making space for every child to share their thoughts. Lessons are kept light-hearted and fun, designed to inspire a love of learning.

Supply List
An optional worksheet will be sent to the students who enroll in the class.  If they would like to print it they will also need a pencil to write the names of the planets.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
