Class Experience
US Grade Preschool - 1
***THIS IS A FLEXIBLE COURSE. WE WILL NOT BE MEETING LIVE DURING THIS COURSE.*** This is a course based off of my popular live class on the planets in our solar system. In this flexible course, we will be learning about the planets in our solar system, but we will also be discussing, interacting, and making our own discoveries about everything else that happens in our solar system. This includes learning about our moon, the International Space Station, the dwarf planets, and the Asteroid...
Learners will be able to learn about the planets, and to learn about the planets in greater detail with their own discoveries, too.
I am a trained Early Childhood (3-6 year old) Montessori teacher, accredited by the American Montessori Society. I have gotten proper training using the Montessori Method with teaching core academic subjects, which does includes a variety of topics in Science, which also includes teaching the planets in our solar system. I have shared my expertise on the subject of the planets in our solar system with the live class I have to offer on Outschool regarding the planets in our solar system for two months now.
Homework Offered
There will be worksheets attached to the class to complete each week with the respective planets. Learners will draw and color each planet and other objects in space. Students may also present solar system models they have created as well towards the end of the course.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
