Hello! Welcome to "Let's Explore Earth! Weekly Geology Lessons for 11-14 Year Olds". In this weekly ongoing course, we will cover a large range of topics in the field of geology. This course is perfect for students who are interested in the field of geology. It's also a great fit for late middle school/early high school students who would like to further their knowledge or study topics that aren't covered in their school's curriculum. Please see the following schedule for class topics. The age range of 11-14 is flexible; please contact me with questions/concerns if your learner is outside the age range :) No prior knowledge is necessary to enroll in this class. If content is carried over from a previous lesson, we will review all necessary information for students who were not in attendance at the previous lesson. Learning Goals
Students will be able to explain various processes and concepts within the field of geological sciences. Students will improve their understanding of the geology of planet Earth.

I am an Ontario Certified Teacher with a qualification to teach Intermediate/Senior level geography (including physical geography/geology concepts). I have a Bachelor of Science (Honours) with a major in biology, but also extensively studied geology within this program. I have been passionately studying geology from the age of 6, when I discovered a special interest in volcanoes!
