US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this one time class, we will be exploring different types of dinosaurs. The learners will have many opportunities to discuss their favorite dinosaurs, ask questions, and share their knowledge about dinosaurs throughout the class. We will learn and discuss the vocabulary: carnivore, herbivore, and paleontologist. We will also talk about some fun facts, view real photos, and then draw a dinosaur at the end of class. I will cover many different dinosaurs such as the biggest, longest, meanest, and smallest. Not all dinosaurs will be discussed, as here are so many, but if your learner has a question please post it in the classroom before or after class and I will try to answer their question in class or send you a personal response to answer your question. Hope to see you in class!

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been teaching for the last 27 years in a variety of settings. I have worked with children 3 to 12 years of age. I have created curriculum for 3-6 year old's, tutored, been a nanny, an assistant director, assistant teacher for early learners in the school district, and taught English (ESL) online. I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and a BA in Psychology. I love to find creative ways for children to learn and have fun! I believe children learn best through a variety of means including: repetition, writing, movement, creativity, socialization, fun, and a positive attitude. If I do not know the answer to a child's question, I will research it and let them know. Knowledge is a powerful tool that can create a spark for future learning and life adventures. I can not wait to have fun teaching and learning from your little ones! See you in the classroom!
