This class is going to discover some of the most interesting, and bizarre-looking creatures of the sea. We will see pictures and short video clips of sea creatures, such as the anglerfish, the blob sculpin, the leafy sea dragon, the red-lipped batfish, the wolf fish, and many more. We will learn facts about each sea creature, and learn where to find them in the ocean. This class is taught through google slides, and class discussion. I teach fun facts, and students are encouraged to add their knowledge and curiosity to the lesson. My teaching style is light, fun, and energetic. Students enjoy learning the facts from the pictures and video clips, as well as worksheets that are provided for an extension after class.

Hello! I have been an elementary school teacher for 20+ years!! I have taught Preschool through Middle School, but teaching elementary school and art has been my passion. I look forward to teaching classes that involve science, reading, writing and art. I started out as a first grade teacher, and have since been a substitute teacher in all grades, as well as art, music, media, and P.E.
I have two boys, Mason and Maddox who are 12 and 15. We had a wonderful summer going to Disney World, and most recently visiting Mount Rushmore and New York City!
