This ongoing class will explore birds commonly found in backyards or in local parks. Pictures of the birds will mostly be those I have taken. Common birds will include Northern Cardinal, BlueJay, Robin, and many more. #academic
Class experience
Growing up, I was around a lot of birds, however I really did not know anything about them or appreciate them. Now I am an avid bird watcher and photographer. I want to share my love of birds with children. We will talk about the birds, where they live, what they eat, and many other interesting facts. I have been an avid birder for years, and enjoy taking pictures of nature, especially birds. I enjoy studying the birds and learning more about them.
We will look at birding websites to learn how to access information. I will be sending parents links and videos to use at home. I will send a note taking page and a link to print off a coloring page if one is available. They do not need to have these for class.
