In this One-Time class, we will learn about ten amazing Australian animals including crocodiles, wallabies, koalas, platypus, lorikeets, wombats, sugar gliders, brolgas, bilbies, and emus.
Class experience
In this One-Time class, we will learn about ten Australian animals. 1 crocodile; facts about saltwater crocodiles, what their babies are called, and how the mother transports them from land to water. We will watch a short video clip that shows how she carefully carries them in her mouth. 2 wallabies; characteristics of them, what "macropodidae" means, and a short video clip to show the differences between a wallaby and a kangaroo. 3 koala bears; facts, what marsupials are, and a short video...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will send you the corresponding worksheets prior to class. They are optional to print. Many learners enjoy them, and some choose to just follow along with my slides.
