Let's Explore America's National Parks

In this 5-week course, we will learn about 10 of America's national parks!

In each class meeting, we will focus on one national park. In a fun and educational manner, your child will learn about the park's history, geological features, wildlife, plant life, and any other notable facet of that park. 

The ten parks we will talk about are:

1: Yosemite
2: Yellowstone
3: Grand Canyon
4: Bryce Canyon (& Zion?)
5: Redwood
6: Death Valley
7: Katmai
8: Crater Lake
9: Acadia
10: Hawaiʻi Volcanoes

These parks are subject to change based on student interest!

This class is interactive. I will share my computer screen and students and I will have a casual, yet structured, discussion. I will share photos and videos. 

I like to describe my teaching style as "have fun while learning." It's important to stay focused and on task, but if a learner gets bored, they won't learn or remember as much as a learner who is being challenged and having fun. This class is casual and laid back (but still structured), providing a fun environment where your learners will feel comfortable and excited to interact. I am very friendly and fun, and I smile all the time! I guarantee your learner will leave class with a newfound excitement for national parks!
