Description
Class Experience
During this one time class students will take turns picking a box number (1-15) for the teacher to open and calling out the baby animal revealed. Students will then have an opportunity to share any facts they may know about the animal before leading the class in a follow-the-leader style movement activity. In order to ensure everyone is able to hear the directions clearly, students will be put on mute when it is not their turn to lead the dinosaur movement. Please be sure your child knows how...
The main focus of this class is to encourage healthy movement in a fun and playful way. We will learn about animals while practicing taking turns, number recognition, conversation skills, social awareness and patience.
I have been working with children of various ages for over 17 years. I believe young children learn best when material is presented in a fun way and movement is involved. I will participate in all animal movements alongside the children as well as support them with taking turns and sharing facts as needed.
Comfortable space to move around with computer screen in view.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students should come to class wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that allow for movement. Students will need ample floor space that allows for moving around with arms outstretched as well as laying down. All students should be supervised by an adult while participating.
