Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to apply their creativity and problem-solving skills in a fun and engaging environment. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of the Create mod and its potential for building and collaboration within the Minecraft world. Join us in this exciting journey through the world of Minecraft and the Create mod, and unlock your creative potential on our hosted private server! Below is an example schedule of what students can choose to follow in the weekly create challenge. Or, they can choose to make their own destiny: Week 1: Week beginning May 6 - Build an Automated Harvester Train Week 2: Week beginning May 13 - Build some Conveyor belts Week 3: Week beginning May 20 - Build a Windmill, log mill or waterwheel mill Week 4: Week beginning May 27 - Build a flying island! Please join me for our next class and let's have a good time! Please note: At the start of the class, I will provide the students with the server information that will enable them to access the private server. Please note that the first 5 minutes or less will be used to set up the game for new students who have enrolled on the course. Intermediate knowledge of Minecraft is needed to play with other students. The session topics will be learner-directed or dictated weekly due to current events. If you come across any problems or queries please let me know before any session begins and I will do my utmost to help you. Understandingly, under the circumstances that you are incapable of participating because of little preparation, I will not be able to provide a refund. Thank you.
Learning Goals
My learning goal for this class is to help students become better communicators, problem solvers, builders and team players. Throughout each lesson, I aim to make my students flourish in their self-esteem by guiding them to act out what they think is best through working with other class members.
