In this on going course students will learn how to draw a different character each lesson from the popular manga and anime show Spy X Family in the anime style! We will start with Anya Forger then Yor, Loid and Becky Blackbell. Requests are welcome if there are other characters you wish to draw from the show. 

In each lesson we will watch a short clip of these people in action from Spy X Family. This is a great way to introduce the characters and get everyone excited about recreating them at home. We will then go through step by step instructions on how to draw these anime style characters with discussion throughout about anime, manga, drawing and Spy X Family. This class will be great for students to practice drawing anime characters in various styles pulling different expressions and in different poses, with changing outfits! It will also be a perfect place to meet other Spy X Family fans. I like to use live drawing and slides to demonstrate how to draw and give a brief background about where the characters come from and what their characteristics are. My teaching style is very enthusiastic and I like to encourage my students by praising what they are doing well and sensitively pointing out where they could improve. The best way to learn is through doing and so my lesson will be very interactive and engaging. The students will need some plain paper and coloured pens or pencils, including the colour black. They are also welcome to use paints also if they would like to colour in with those. No required experience or knowledge is needed for this class. Just a joy and curious attitude about art, anime and how to draw!

Once we get to the last character the class will loop back round to Anya again and start from there so each student gets a chance to draw them all no mater where you start! Do send me a message if you wish to know which character we are currently on.
