Hello Outschool families! 

I am Miss Rose and I live in the Appalachian Mountains in the great state of Georgia in the United States.

 My whole life I have been obsessed with science, language, and geography. I have been teaching preschool to elementary aged students since 2018. I have privately tutored elementary age kids in science, geography, and ESL.

I’m a certified ESL teacher and I enjoy watching children learn, blossom, and grow. As an ESL teacher I have also taught all subject areas, but primarily co-taught science and geography. I also was a nanny for 3 years. It is a privilege to help your children learn about the world around them in a fun and engaging way.

For fun I love all things Disney and try to go to Disney World as much as possible! My favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast. I am learning to play the guitar and learning a new language, Tamil. I love to paint, and I do arts and crafts as well. I’m obsessed with whales and all the creatures of the ocean. I have a cat named Stormy and she is my faithful friend. My favorite game is chess. 

As a health coach and certified ESL teacher I enjoy and am devoted to helping people reach their goals- kids and adults alike. I believe that when children are successful in learning new things and feel proud of themselves, it sets them up for a lifetime of achievement. I have experience with kids that have learning, and emotional challenges and it has opened my eyes to the different ways that children learn. I incorporate visual, auditory, and tactile learning opportunities into my classes, with the help of fun, colorful, and engaging slides, videos, and worksheets. 

Children of all learning abilities and English proficiency are warmly welcomed in my class!
