This is a five week class where students will draw several different Pokemon, during class students and teacher will also discuss their favorite Pokemon, characters, movies, games and cartoons.

US Grade 2 - 5
Beginner Level
In this class students will be given step by step visual instruction while they draw along with the teacher. During this class students will be learning to draw several different Pokémon, and we will be drawing two or three characters per class. I will be using a camera so that I can look at and talk with students while they are watching me demonstrate what I am drawing on the an iPad on screen. I will be discussing drawing techniques and we will discuss favorite Pokémon and facts about...
Students will learn about form and construction using basic shapes to create a drawings of different heroes from comics, cartoons, and movies. Students will also be shown basics of sketching and outlining students and will learn about forms and shapes while drawing fun characters.
I am a professional illustrator with a masters in animation and visual effects and I will be teaching the basics of character design while we draw cute cartoon characters. I have taught similar classes for the past several years and have two books on step by step drawing.

Students can continue drawing and coloring after class is over.Assessments Offered
Students will be able to show their artwork off to teacher and fellow students.Grades Offered
Paper preferably heavy duty to draw on, but printer paper can work. Crayons, Colored Pencils, or Markers Pencil and Eraser
We will be drawing fun versions of the characters which will not be very complicated. Students will learn about how to create fun characters but we will not be covering realism.
