***Homeschooling and neurodivergent friendly*** This is a fun and relaxing ongoing art class for young artists to practice drawing and painting adorable, colorful animals. Learners will explore simple shapes, color mixing, patterns, and resist techniques while discovering their creative flow. My classes are designed with a caring touch to facilitate an inclusive learning environment. We will focus on the creative process rather than the finished product so that learners can build their confidence in their creative abilities. Learners are encouraged to use additional materials to bring more personality and creativity to their art. At the beginning of each class, we'll greet ourselves and look at pictures of animals for inspiration. Young artists will then follow along as I demonstrate step-by-step instructions on how to draw different animals in a fun, flowing way. We will then paint and combine mediums using an easygoing approach. Learners are free to socialize and ask questions if needed along the way. Young artists will use crayons, markers, and watercolor to paint their animals. Perfect for homeschooling and learners looking for after-school social classes. During class, I will use two cameras so that learners can follow along. I create a warm and engaging environment for learners to socialize while expressing themselves through art. This class is designed for beginner and intermediate levels.
