In this one time class, each child chooses their own ice cream flavors & cone styles while I lead them step-by-step through an Ice Cream Cone drawing!
Class experience
No prior drawing experience needed because I'll be leading each child step-by-step through an ice cream cone drawing. As we introduce ourselves and get settled in at the beginning of class, we'll chat about our favorite ice cream flavors & favorite types of cones. Then I'll show them some of my ice cream paintings in all kinds of flavors to help inspire them and explain that I'll be walking them through the steps of how to create their own ice cream cone drawing. Students will learn how to sketch a couple of different types of ice cream cones and techniques to create a three dimensional illusion with light and shadow effects.
pencil eraser sharpener at least 2 pieces of drawing paper or a sketchbook (even sheets of copier paper will work) crayons or colored pencils (or even the twistable style of either of those) (or a combination of all of those)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
