Let's Draw Fish!
In this class, I'll lead students through the basic steps of drawing a fish. Then we'll practice some modifications to the basic steps, so we can add more fish in a variety of shapes and sizes to our underwater scene.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the basic steps of drawing wide variety of sizes, shapes & styles of fish. While drawing the fish, your child will learn or refresh his or her memory about the main parts of a fish. We will also use the vocabulary of setting and background details for an underwater scene. In the final step of adding color, students will learn how to make wise color choices for different sections of this artwork and tips for using certain coloring tools.
No homework necessary but your child might enjoy practicing his or her fish drawing skills. Also, if your child did not finish the coloring step of our drawing while in our class, that could be easily finished after our time together ends.
pencil, eraser, sharpener at least 1 piece of drawing paper or a sketchbook or even a sheet of copier paper will work crayons or colored pencils (or even the twistable style of either of those)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will be no formal assessment; however, we will take the time to hold up our drawings and celebrate and encourage each other at the end of class.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
