🐼🐈🐸🐠 Let’s Draw Cute Animals Together (Ages 4-6) | Join Anytime!

In this engaging and interactive drawing class, young learners will develop their artistic skills by creating fun and imaginative animal illustrations. Each week, students will be guided step by step in drawing a new animal using simple shapes to build their unique creations. As time allows, we will enhance our artwork by adding background details and colors. 

Throughout the session, students are encouraged to ask questions, actively participate, and engage in creative discussions. When available, we will also watch a short educational video featuring interesting facts about the animal of the week. At the end of class, students will have the opportunity to share their drawings in a supportive and encouraging environment. 

This class fosters creativity, fine motor skills, and social interaction, making it both an educational and enjoyable experience for young artists. 

 
Each week we will draw a new animal and as students become comfortable with our class sessions, they are more than welcome to suggest animal drawings for any upcoming classes.  I have over 200 different animals and different art styles in which these animals can be drawn. I try not to repeat the animals unless they are student requested. 

*Sometimes students may have to complete the coloring of their drawing outside of class if they run out of time. 
 
 
📋 Class Structure 

Learners will be presented with clues to identify the animal of the week. 

Step-by-step drawing instructions will be provided, allowing learners to follow along. 

Learners will have the opportunity to add color and background details to their drawings. 

Students can engage in social conversations about their artwork. 

If available, a video showcasing fun facts and details about the animal of the week will be played. 

Students will have the option to share and discuss their drawings with the class during the "show and tell" segment.

2. Coloring supplies: Crayons, markers, or colored pencils.

Attendance Policy 
The class will begin promptly at the scheduled time. If a student arrives late, the lesson will proceed as planned. If time allows, I will make an effort to review any missed content. Additionally, when a student arrives late, I will restart the lesson from that point and continue until the designated class end time. 

Please note that if we are unable to complete the activity due to tardiness, students are encouraged to finish their work outside of class. They are welcome to share their completed work at the beginning of the next session, provided time permits. 

Minimum Class enrollment 

Please note the minimum enrollment requirement for each class. If the minimum is not met, you may be asked to transfer to another session to ensure the class meets the required attendance. If you are unable to find an alternative class time that works, a refund can be issued. 

While I am happy to teach a class with just one student and will provide the same attention and energy as I would in a full class, meeting the minimum enrollment helps create a more social and enjoyable experience for all participants. 

  
 
What to do… 
 
Student Schedule Change Request? 
I understand that unexpected situations may arise, and you may need to adjust your learner’s class schedule. I am happy to accommodate schedule changes whenever possible. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if your learner is unable to attend their scheduled session. With advance notice, I will gladly transfer them to another available session at a different date or time. 

 
What to do If my child is absent? 
If a session is missed, you may request a recording. I am happy to provide recordings and offer assistance or feedback to verified learners. However, please note that access to class recordings is not guaranteed. 

All classes will begin on time as long as at least one learner is present. If no students have joined the classroom within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, I will exit the session. 

Additionally, in rare cases, recordings may need to remain private to ensure learner safety. According to Outschool’s policy, the sharing of class recordings is at the teacher’s discretion.  

🚫 Class Cancellations  
 
Canceled Class by the teacher? 

In accordance with Outschool’s policy, I will wait in the classroom for up to 10 minutes before canceling the session. If no students arrive within this grace period, the class will be canceled. Please note that in such cases, a recording will not be available, as lessons will not be conducted without students present. 

 
Teacher Emergency? 

In the event that I must cancel a class due to an emergency, you will have the option to transfer your learner to another session. If a transfer is not feasible, I will be happy to issue a refund for the missed class. 

 
Refunds? 

No-shows and missed classes are not eligible for refunds. If a session is missed, a recording will be available for viewing. To ensure a smooth experience, please allow ample time for both you and the student to log in early. This will give you an opportunity to perform a technical check and ensure that you can enter the class without any issues. 

 

Class Subscription 

Class subscriptions are automatically renewed every Sunday. If your learner misses a class, they are welcome to watch the class recording, which will be available on the classroom page. 

You may pause or stop your subscription by notifying me by the Sunday prior to the week your learner cannot attend. Additionally, class transfers can be arranged (subject to availability) if you need to change your learner's class day or time. 

 
Discounts 

Please note that there is no sibling discount for this course. Siblings and/or co-learners must be enrolled individually in order to attend and participate in the class.
