Welcome! This class is meant to be fun and relaxed! We will talk about what we are drawing in a positive environment. In this class we will be drawing adorable animals! This is a beginner class with step by step instructions. During the class students will all wait for each other before moving on to the next step. Students will have the chance to show off their drawings during the process and when they are finished if they wish. When we are finished our main image, students will be encouraged to use their imagination to color in their creations and create a background. While they are colouring we will have time to learn some things about the things we have made. We will also have time to practice our socialization skills with time to talk and get to know each other. This class will combine the best of my current drawing classes and many new creations! As we get towards the holidays we will draw seasonal items as well. I look forward to seeing your child in class!
Learning Goals
Students will has have the chance to engage with the teacher and other students. They will also have a chance to work on motor, verbal and spacial skills. Most importantly they will HAVE FUN!

Welcome!
When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
