Class Experience

In this class we will learn to draw simple, adorable cartoon animals! Each week we will draw and color a different animal using basic shapes and simple strokes. No drawing experience is needed. Perfect for beginner artists or more experienced learners who just love drawing animals!

When I teach, I draw step by step, with the learners. I use drawing paper, pencil, eraser and coloring pencils. Students will be encouraged to add creative elements to their drawings.
The classes are independent of each other, so you do not need to take them consecutively. Learners can join at any point.

Learners will be required to bring a sketchbook or blank drawing paper, a pencil, an eraser, and a coloring medium. Coloring pencils are recommended, but markers or crayons may also be used.

It is important to be on time, because I start the lesson promptly. If learners are more than 5 minutes late they will likely miss the first step of the drawing.

I always mute my classes, but I encourage learners to unmute when they have questions or want feedback. Therefore, learners need to have a basic understanding of how to use zoom so they can unmute themselves as needed.

Learners are encouraged to share their artwork at the end of the class and/or post their finished drawing on our classroom.

I am looking forward to drawing with you!
