Class Experience

Do you love cats and drawing? I do too! Together, we will draw cute chibi cats with adorable expressions, and give our cats some funny mischief to get into and provide our cats with a few snacks to eat.

We will begin by using pencils to sketch. I will provide step by step instruction. I also show students more than one way to make the artwork, therefore giving the students decisions about their art process. Students will then be free to get creative and make some funny situations for their...

Students will learn about creating expressive artwork.
Students will learn how to simplify artwork in the chibi style.
Students will gain confidence in their artistic abilities.

Art paper
Pencil and eraser 
Fine tip Sharpie marker and/or Ultra fine tip Sharpie marker
Watercolor paints and/or colored pencils

55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
