Class Experience
Fine motor skills are necessary for writing. While many children are not ready to write until they are five or six, practicing copying simple pictures is a wonderful and fun way to develop early fine motor skills! If your child is very young and simply wants to do the drawings and is not yet ready for the writing, that is fine too! In this class designed for preschool and early Kindergarten aged learners, we will learn to draw two simple bugs; an ant and a bee. We will learn some fun...
Draw and talk about two common "bugs", the ant and bee. Learn the sounds that we make when reading "ant/bee/bug" and practice writing these simple three letter words
Since this is a preschool drawing class, bring to class whatever your child enjoys drawing with the most. I like to use a pencil with an eraser along with crayons for this class. But if your child likes markers instead, that's fine too!
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
