I have been drawing since I was a toddler watching re-runs of the funny Batman TV series (way before my time) and trying to imitate what I saw. BAM! BIFF! KA-POW! I also imitated the drawings in a giant-size Batman coloring book that was just as tall as I was. As I got older, I drew Transformers, superheroes, and other characters. I took art classes in high school and college. Later, I taught a basic drawing workshop as part of the weekend and summer activities for an Upward Bound program. I have more than 10 years of teaching experience. I have taught at the high school and college levels, and I have served as an academic counselor. In addition, I ran an afterschool homework center and summer academic enrichment program for grades K-5 for a year. Therefore, I have worked with small children, pre-teens, teens, and adults successfully.
