Get $5 off your first class with coupon code ANAYAY5 Let’s draw some cute squishmallow animals! In this ongoing drawing class, we will draw 2 different squishmallows from different squads each week! So feel free to join at anytime! We will begin class by saying hello and ensuring we have our supplies. Then we will look at a slide of the week's animal squishmallow and talk a little about it. Then we will begin our drawing step by step using simple shapes and lines to create our drawing. We will outline and colour our drawing IF time permits it. This class is beginner friendly, no experience needed! Students can use any medium they feel comfortable with including digital drawing! Students will get a chance to request specific squishmallow animals they want to draw on the upcoming classes Class starts right at the time listed, if learner is late I will greet you and try my best to catch you up. However out of respect for the other learners I will continue with the lesson. Note: sometimes zoom has technical issues and it does not let you in if your late or not doesn’t notify me that your in the waiting room. Hello! My name is Ana, but my students call me Ms. Ana. I am a practicing artist by day and an Art teacher by night!
In 2012, I worked as a Daycare Assistant at the Royal Daycare & Learning Centre in Mississauga, ON. I cared for large groups of children with fun-directed activities, including nature walks, arts and crafts, and snack time.
I have been the Art Teacher at Canadas School of Music and Arts in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, since 2016. I teach Kinder Arts classes for ages 4 to 6, Art fundamentals for ages 6 to 13, and private lessons for any age group. I am responsible for creating lessons and curricula and helping students develop their artistic skills by drawing, painting, and sketching. I am proud of making monthly themed lesson plans for my students, in which we explore different mediums, such as; acrylic paint, watercolor paint, pastels, and pencil crayons.
My teaching philosophy is based on finding your confidence as a growing artist. Through constructive criticism and confidence building, anyone can learn!
