Class Experience

This class will be taught by giving step-by-step instructions on how to draw an Easter Bunny. I will be using a document camera, so learners will be able to follow along with my step-by-step instructions to complete a Easter Bunny drawing and will be able to see everything I do as I am giving instructions. At the end of class, we will also have a whole class discussion about Easter Bunnies with the remaining class time.

As an educator with over 11 years of experience, I have worked with a wide array of learners and environments, both online and in the classroom. My teaching style is engaging, interactive, and full of love. I pride myself on providing a safe environment for all students where they can grow.

Learning Goals

By the end of this class, learners will have drawn and begin to color in their own Easter Bunny.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there!

My name is Lisa and I'm a 2nd grade teacher in Washington State. I have been in the education field since 2009. I have worked as a teacher’s assistant, preschool teacher, and finally, as a 2nd grade teacher. I have also taught kindergarten and 5th grade...but 2nd grade ROCKS! Throughout my time in the education field, I have worked diverse populations of learners. I believe this diversity has helped me to become a better teacher. I set high standards and expectations for my students, because I know they can reach them, despite many hurdles they might encounter. Together, the student and I (and parent) can be sure that my student reaches their maximum potential. I earned my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Elementary education from Washington State University. It is my mission to make my classes engaging, valuable, educational, and FUN!
