Description
Class Experience
Students will use listening skills to follow step-by-step directions on how to draw a rainbow. Students will learn facts about this colorful natural phenomenon including the spectral order of visible light.
No homework, although student artists may want to continue working on their drawing after class.
Drawing paper A marker Oil pastels, or other tools of student’s choice for coloring
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Assessment is informal in this one-time class. The teacher assesses student progress while drawing to make sure all students understand each step.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
