In this one time art class, students will use oil pastels to draw a colorful macaw.
Class experience
Students will learn the basics of oil pastel use and techniques. We will use basic shapes to draw the macaw. When we move on to oil pastels, we will use blending techniques and learn ways to create texture. The learners can interact with the instructor as much as needed! Learners are encouraged to ask questions and give input.there is no prior knowledge needed for this class, just a love for art! I teach my classes in a step by step manner so that all students can follow and have confidence...
Students will be able to draw a macaw by breaking the forms up into simple shapes. Students will practice blending and making texture with oil pastels.
