Class experience
In this fun spooky art class we will draw a bat from a reference photo step-by-step. Students will first plan the rough composition and outline the shapes of their drawing looking at proportions and lines. Next we will add some texture such as fur on the head. Then we will start to add shading and focus on the darkness of shadows, comparing tonal variety across the image. Finally students will add some highlights and neaten up edges to create a fabulous drawing of a bat - just in time for...
