Class experience
Pokémon is one of the most popular animated shows of all time, with art that stands out among the crowd. In this class, we're going to focus on the art of the Pokémon series, and design our own, unique Pokémon cards with our illustrations! Each class will follow the same loose guidelines, where we will: - Take a look at a Pokémon's design - Discuss what inspired it - Identify what really stands out about it - Pinpoint the Pokémon's type(s) and appropriate moves Then, we'll learn to draw...
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn how to apply creative design choices to their art, as well as learn to master the illustration style put forth by the Pokémon animated series.
Art is a lifelong passion, and my journey with art started in middle school. I have worked in many different media, but my favorites are sketching, drawing, and photography. I’ve been keeping sketchbooks for nearly 20 years, and they’ve helped me document my journey with art, as well as important milestones in my life. I want to help learners find their artistic passion and help them do the same.
