Let’s Dance to K-Pop: BTS – Butter Chorus | Kids Version!
In this class, students will learn a simplified version of the chorus choreography to BTS' song 'Butter' using moves inspired by the original dance.
Annyeonghasaeyo! (Hello!) Have you ever wanted to dance like your favorite K-Pop idols? How about we start with world famous BTS’ song, Butter (chorus only)! For this class, no dance experience is required, I’ll be sure to break everything down. Class plan: First things first, we’ll quickly go over class rules and get to know each other a little. Before we begin, we’ll start up with a quick fun BTS stretches and warm-up. When teaching, I will break the chorus into 8’s and slowly explain...
Students will learn how to co-ordinate dance movements and how to express themselves through dance.
I have over 17 years of dance experience. Primarily, I specialize in street/pop/hip-hop dance but also have experience with jazz, contemporary, ballet and tap. I have been a K-Pop cover dancer for 5 years and have taught K-Pop dance classes for over 3 years for a K-Pop dance club that I co-founded where I've taught kids, teens and adults. Throughout this time, I have co-ordinated performances and performed in many UK National K-Pop competitions and Korean culture events. I have also participated in various workshops taught by professional Korean choreographers that have worked in the K-Pop industry.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Due to this being a movement class, please ensure your child has an open space to dance in (6ft x 6ft) and ensure there are no objects nearby for potential collisions. Students must wear appropriate attire and footwear for dancing. Please also have water available to drink as needed throughout the class. The class will feature a 3-4 minute stretching/low intensity warm up and stretching cool down, however additional stretching prior/after the class is also encouraged based on the individual's personal needs. Although unlikely, injuries may occur if students do not have enough open space, adequate stretching, or parental supervision during class. In addition, since this class is performance based, it is preferable that students have their cameras on to evaluate progress.
